Sidebar

The dashboard sidebar gives you access to every section of your account — the board, domain setup, access-key management, billing, filters, and settings — plus a domain selector when your account has more than one domain registered.

Domain selector

At the top of the sidebar, a compact selector shows the domain you are currently viewing. If your account has more than one domain, clicking the selector opens a list of all your registered domains. Choosing a different domain reloads the board for that domain from the top of the range you had selected. The domain you last viewed is remembered across sessions on the same browser.

Each domain entry shows the hostname — for example, example.com — exactly as it was entered when the domain was registered. If you have a www and a non-www version, they appear as separate entries. A visit is only counted against the domain whose site key was embedded in the script on that page.

If you have not yet registered a domain, the sidebar shows a Setup link in place of the selector. Clicking Setup takes you through the steps to register your first domain, verify the connection, and get the script snippet.

Navigation links

Below the domain selector, the sidebar shows the main navigation links for your account. The board link returns you to the main analytics board for the selected domain. Setup takes you to the domain registration flow. Filters opens the settings where you can configure the country allowlist, bot-drop toggle, and errors-off toggle.

The Access link shows your access key and lets you rekey it. Because StatelessID does not use email or passwords, the access key is the only credential you have — treat it like a password and do not share it. The key is shown only once per generation; after that, you can rekey if you lose it.

Billing shows the current state of your subscription and lets you change or cancel it. Settings holds domain-level controls such as the site key viewer and the domain hostname. The Reports link opens the list of frozen monthly reports for the selected domain.

Mobile layout

On narrow screens, the sidebar collapses into a top navigation bar with a menu button. The same links are present; they are reorganised into a vertical list that slides in from the side when you tap the menu button. The domain selector appears at the top of that list.

All board controls — range pills, metric pills, the chart, and the card grid — remain on the main content area to the right of the sidebar on wide screens, and below the top bar on narrow screens. Nothing is hidden on mobile that is visible on desktop.

Signing out

A sign-out control is available at the bottom of the sidebar. Clicking it ends your session immediately. Because StatelessID does not store your email, the sign-out action is the only way to end a session from the browser you are using. Sessions also expire automatically after a period of inactivity.

If you are on a shared computer, always sign out using the sidebar control when you are done. The session is tied to the browser cookie set when you entered your access key; clearing that cookie also ends the session.

If the sidebar does not load

The sidebar is rendered server-side and does not depend on a JavaScript framework. If the sidebar links are missing or the domain selector is blank, the most common cause is a session that has expired. Enter your access key again at the login page to restore the session.

If the sidebar loads but the domain selector shows a domain you do not recognise, you may be signed into the wrong account. Sign out, then sign in again with the correct access key.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot find the Filters link, check that you are on the dashboard for a registered domain rather than on the Setup screen — the Filters page is domain-specific and only appears after at least one domain is registered.

If the Access link is missing, your session may have a reduced privilege level. Sign out and sign back in with your access key.
